About Me

My tech career kickstarted when I completed a 12-week intensive boot camp course with _Nology. I spent a brief time working as a software engineer, using automation testing software including Cypress and Selenium. I then attained my desired role as a front-end developer at Networx, working with HTML, Javascript, Jquery, VueJS, and Bootstrap, whilst integrating with a .Net backend framework. Whilst with my current company for the past year I have led and managed the front-end team and their workloads, partaken in g high-level stakeholder meetings with directors to determine the best UI/UX for the application. Learning and developing my skills to include the use of the collaborative web application UI design tool 'Figma' allowed me to build a complete UI kit for the company, this subsequently permitted me to quickly mock up frames and flows to demonstrate to required stakeholders, gathering feedback before any code is written to ensure we get the best application for users and customers first time. My passion outside of work lies within sports, I have played an array of sports throughout my life and attained different coaching badges including a BA Honours degree in Sports Coaching and Development.
